Policies

1) Personal commissions are meant for non-commercial, i.e. personal use only. The client may not sell, trace, or claim the artwork as their own. The artist retains all the rights to the commissioned work; the Client retains the rights to their character(s) depicted in the artwork. The Client may upload a watermarked artwork to their personal websites and social media.2) The Client may color in and shade line art only works themselves, but must properly credit the Artist for the line work when sharing the art.3) All communications and feedback must be kept between the Artist and Client only. The Client may discuss the art with others, but the feedback must come directly from the Client.4) The artwork is not to be used on any AI platforms and/or to train any AI.5) The Artist has the right to turn down any commission request if they do not believe in their ability to fulfill said request.6) The Artist has the right to turn down any commission request if they deem the content offensive or harmful.7) Alterations are allowed in the rough sketch/outline phase for line art, or line art stage for colored pieces. These must be minor changes such as: facial feature details, scars, accessory details, ect. The original concept agreed upon between both Artist and Client may not be changed once line art has been started.8) Payment will be collected in full prior to the start of the work, after details of the work have been fully discussed and agreed upon by both Artist and Client.9) No refunds are provided unless the artist was not able to deliver the artwork within five months.10) The estimate of time will be provided after discussing and agreeing upon the work details between both the Client and Artist, and will be no more than five months.11) The Client will be updated with at least one progress picture for each work.12) The artwork may be posted on Artist’s social media accounts or portfolio websites. The Artist will never claim a Client's original character as their own. If the Client is purchasing the artwork as a gift or surprise and has notified the Artist, then the Artist will maintain confidentiality, and will only post the artwork after verifying the gift has been given by the Client.13) The Client must read, understand and agree to all the above terms. By submitting the payment, the Client agrees to all the above terms.
